Nominate a Local Leader Who’s Lighting the Way!
The Boulder Chamber and the Business Women’s Leadership Group (BWLG) are proud to open nominations for the 2025 Women Who Light the Community Awards, happening on September 11, 2025.
Each year, we honor women and youth in Boulder County who are making meaningful, lasting contributions to their communities—through leadership, creativity, courage, and a deep commitment to impact. We invite you to help us recognize these remarkable individuals by submitting a nomination today.
Women Who Light The Community Award
Do you know a woman who inspires others and makes Boulder County stronger? Nominate her!
- Lives or works in Boulder County, or whose contributions significantly impact the Boulder County community.
- Has made meaningful contributions in areas such as business, government, nonprofit, the arts, education, healthcare, sports, education, innovation, community service, civic leadership, or environmental advocacy.
- Is not a past honoree, Chamber staff, or a member of the BWLG advisory committee.
Emerging Youth Award
- We’re also accepting nominations for the Emerging Youth Award, recognizing one exceptional young woman in Boulder County.
- Is currently enrolled in grades 8–12 in a Boulder County school or home-school program
- Has demonstrated leadership or excellence in a team, group, or organization
- Has made a significant or committed contribution to a business, organization, or community need—locally, nationally, or globally
- The selected youth honoree will receive a $1,500 scholarship and be recognized at the award ceremony.
